Bartallama3D is a design and manufacturing studio. We design, prototype, and manufacture parts that serve a functional purpose.
Our story
Hi, I'm Bart.
I'm an engineer. I write software by day, and I enjoy making things, both virtual and physical, that solve problems.
After buying my first home, I kept finding that the things I wanted either didn't exist or cost far too much. A friend let me borrow his 3D printer, I fell in love with it, and soon I had my own. I printed brackets, jigs, and custom parts all over the house.
My biggest project was a set of smart shades built to my own spec: a blackout shade behind a sheer, Z-Wave control, hard-wired power, and fabrics I actually liked. Nothing on the market did all of that without costing a fortune, so I built them from DIY shade materials, tubular motors, and custom printed parts.
Bartallama3D grew out of that: designing and making the parts that aren't on the market yet. The goal is always function and good looks, with as little waste as possible.

Our parts have to look good and hold up. We use quality materials, sound engineering, and modern manufacturing methods, so every part we send out is one we're proud of.
Functionality
We think about how you'll actually use a part: how it installs, how it fits your gear, and how it works day to day. Each part has the features it needs and is easy to assemble and use.
Always improving
We listen to feedback and revise our designs. Every product has a version number, and when we release a new version, we say what changed.
